User Need
Current music platforms offer stale, reprtitive recommendations dominated by older tracks. Users struggle to discover fresh music they'll love, leading to a frustrating and stagnant listening ecperience.
Pain Points
We conducted 25 interviews and gather survey responses from over 50 participants. These insights revealed critical pain points and informed each step of Wave's development, ensuring a user-centered approach backed by data
Competitor Analysis
Through analysis of major platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Shazam, we identified key opportunities to enhance music discovery. By understanding what users love and struggle with on existing services, we designed Wave to deliver a uniquely personal and frictionless experience.
Wave offers a fresh approach to music discovery by simplifying the process through an intuitive and engaging interface. Unlike traditional platforms, which often overwhelm users with complex navigation and uninspired recommendations, Wave eliminates the tediousness associated with finding new music. It allows users to explore new tracks and artists effortlessly, transforming what was once a frustrating experience into a seamless journey of sound exploration.
Playlist Export Integration
Wave seamlessly connects with Spotify and Apple Music, allowing users to export swiped tracks directly into their existing playlists.
Social Sharing Integration
Built-in links with Instagram Stories and Snapchat enable users to share their favorite finds instantly with friends and followers.
Follower & Playlist Sync
Wave integrates with existing streaming profiles, letting users follow friends’ playlists and keep their Wave discoveries in sync across platforms.
